Archi-talks is growing! Starting this season we’re dedicating each session to a non-profit. Your $3 donation this month goes to AIA’s Women in Architecture.

Doors open -- with refreshments, snacks, and good conversation -- at 6:30pm. The evening's lecture begins at dusk. 

The Month's Presentation: “Designing from the Inside Out: A Woman’s Perspective on Architecture,” with Carina Coel

Carina Coel, founder and principal of Restructure Studio, will deliver an intriguing presentation on balancing design projects with sustainability, and work as a designer with a sustainable work/life balance.

Coel has been passionate about sustainable living from the very beginning of her career. Restructure Studio is dedicated to merging sustainable practices with excellent design. Coel and Restructure Studio focus on residential projects, incorporating green building principles to improve our environment ecologically and aesthetically with every structure.

What to Expect at Architalks

Inspiration. Insight. Discussion. 

The talks are usually 45 minutes, with time for a few questions at the end. The talk is in the equally-inspiring Articulture gardens. So come early, relax, look around. Have a great time!

Wine and beer will be provided along with some snacks and soft drinks. The series is free, but please RSVP so we can prepare appropriately. (And if you RSVP early, but later discover you can't make it, please let us know.)

If the parking lot is full upon arrival, there is ample parking available here. 

RAIN DATE: Archi-talks is held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the rain date is set for the following evening, Thursday, March 7th.
