Now Hiring: Groundskeeper

Articulture Designs, a high-end plantscape design firm, is seeking a part-time groundskeeper to keep our garden area looking beautiful, and maintain our plant inventory.   

About the Job

This is a part-time position, roughly 25-30 hours per week. There could be opportunity to work more hours if able/willing to assist in offsite job installations when needed.

Primary job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Watering and caring for our wide range of plant inventory

  • Leaf blowing, bagging leaves

  • Weeding

  • Keeping gravel yard clean

  • Proper care and upkeep of lawn equipment

  • Assist in setup of events when needed (setting out chairs, cleaning tables, collecting firewood, etc.)

  • Assist your teammates when assistance is needed, even if it isn’t your main job duty

Please note the following work conditions that you must be capable of:

  • Work outside, in the sun, getting dirty and sweat

  • Lift 50 pounds independently

  • Help teammates move and lift very heavy pots, walls, structures safely

  • Climb and work on ladders

  • Proficient in use and care for lawn equipment (leaf blower, weed-whacker, chainsaw, etc.)

About You

To succeed in this job you should have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and experience caring for plants. Below are a few requirements to be considered for this position:

  • Minimum 2-years-experience in plant care or lawn service

  • The more plant care knowledge you have, the greater your chance of succeeding

  • Ability to take direction and critique positively

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic, and not afraid to sweat and get your hands dirty!

  • Fluent in English
